Nonconventional short-time dc magnetometer for superconducting films

چکیده
A nonconventional technique for the measurement of magnetic relaxation in superconducting films at short times (;10 s) is described. This technique combines the application of a pulsed magnetic field and a synchronized high-energy pulsed laser. Remanent magnetic relaxation in ~Y;Gd!Ba2Cu3O72d thin films is reported over five decades time at reduced temperatures above 0.8. © 1998 American Institute of Physics. @S0034-6748~98!00701-1#

Measurement of high spatial resolution magnetocardiogram and source localization in rats with occlusion
In recent years, magnetocardiographic (MCG) source imaging has been implemented for the pathological studies of myocardial diseases. Many clinical studies on infarctions in humans were carried out [1]. A few studies, however, have reported on the in vivo experiments of basic myocardial diseases. Cohen [2] studied the ST sift and the DC shift of a dog's MCG, which were measured after an induced ...
متن کاملdc measurements of macroscopic quantum levels in a superconducting qubit structure with a time-ordered meter
dc measurements are made in a superconducting, persistent current qubit structure with a time-ordered meter. The persistent-current qubit has a double-well potential, with the two minima corresponding to magnetization states of opposite sign. Macroscopic resonant tunneling between the two wells is observed at values of energy bias that correspond to the positions of the calculated quantum level...
متن کاملJosephson Current For a Graphene Nanoribbon Using a Lattice Model
A tight binding approach based on the Bogoliubov-de Gennes approach has been used to calculate the DC Josephson current for a lattice model for S-GNR-S junctions , for short junctions with respect to superconducting coherence length. We calculate the phase, length, width and chemical potential dependence at the Josephson junction and discuss the similarities and differences with regard to the t...
متن کاملCalibration of ac and dc magnetometers with a Dy2O3 standard.
The ac susceptibility and magnetization curves of a glued Dy(2)O(3) powder sample are measured by an ac susceptometer and a dc superconducting quantum interference device magnetometer, both of which have been calibrated previously. It is shown that the magnetic moment of the paramagnetic sample as a function of field and temperature may be accurately expressed by a combination of the Curie-Weis...

A spectrometer incorporating a high transition temperature dc superconducting quantum interference device ~SQUID! is used to obtain nuclear magnetic resonance signals from protons in mineral oil at room temperature in fields up to 3 mT. The spatial separation between the SQUID magnetometer at 77 K and the sample at room temperature is less than 1 mm. At 2 mT, the signal is easily resolved in a ...
